Joslyn Stinchcomb has come home! After 19 surgeries and 80+ days in the hospital, she was welcomed home with a parade of firefighters and law enforcement officers and medical personnel, even the ones credited with saving her life. Check out some of the footage, here.
Joslyn was viciously attacked by pit bulls on Friday, July 31st, during a routine walk around her neighborhood. Thankfully, the tracheotomy has been removed and she is able to breathe and eat, but her voice is still mostly at a whisper. The skin grafts on her scalp are healing well, but there's more. She has extensive nerve damage to her face, which is still paralyzed on one side. During what should be the most carefree time of her life, Joslyn will have to undergo more medical procedures and therapy, all while her family faces mounting medical bills.
